SUMMER CAMPS

For information on summer camps, please contact OCdt Ted McDonald (camps@2958rcacc.ca)

If you have already received and accepted an offer for camp then nothing additional is needed on your part.  The camps will be issuing information packages, called “Joining Instructions”, that will be available soon (either I will send them to you or we will publish them on the website).  These instructions contain all the information that Cadets and Parents will need (including: kit lists, contact information while at the camps, how transport to and from the camps will take place, etc).  I will be in touch with you as we get closer to the camp start dates.

If you wanted to go to camp but did not receive an offer (it’s unfortunate that camp offers are limited) we can put you on a waiting list.  Spots sometimes open up at the last minute (day of or day before the start of camp).  Cadets who are available (and can be prepared to go with very short notice) get to attend camp.  In previous years, we have had a number of Cadets that have received offers this way.  The summer camps are an excellent part of the Cadet program.  I encourage you to contact me if you are interested in being added to the waiting list.
