Upcoming events for May and June

Upcoming Events for May 

26 May - CO parade: we will be handing out promotions and some awards before annual.  Parents are welcome and encouraged to join us.  You never know who will getting what. 

28 May - Annual practice:  timings are 0900 to 1600, lunch will be provided.  Bring snacks and a water bottle.  Dress is combat.

29 May - Annual parade: Our annual parade is where the cadets show off what they have learned over the past year.  Timings for cadets is 0900 to end of parade.  Parents are encouraged to atttend.  We asked that parents be seated by 1245.

2 June - Sport Night (location TBD)

9 June - Administion Night, prepartion for camp

11 June - End fo the year picnic.  All are welcome to attend. Location is Long Island Camp (415 Nicolls Island Rd, Manotick, ON)

Operation Impact - Saturday May 7

On Saturday 7-May, we will have an activity day at Connaught, including Abseiling (another term for rappelling) and running the Confidence Course. Gold Stars and above will partake in a C7 shoot. Lunch will be provided.

Transportation from and to the Legion will be provided. Drop off is NLT 0715 and pickup is 1730 (5:30pm).

Encounters With Canada

Here is an offer from Encounters with Canada. This is a great opportunity for Cadets to take part in a great program. Although this is not offered via the Army Cadet program, all cadets that register will be given the choice to parade with the local corps in Ottawa on Remembrance Day.
